Call for Papers

The Organizing committee of the International Conference on Addiction for Youth and Families Across Borders invites researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and advocates to submit abstracts for presentations, workshops, and poster dialogue and collaboration on innovative practices and policies that support addiction recovery for youth and families on a global scale.

Submission topics

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including but limited to:

• Cross-border challenges and solutions in addiction recovery
• Culturally sensitive treatment approaches
• Family-Dynamics and Support Systems
• Youth-Centered Recovery Strategies
• Community engagement and advocacy
• Innovations in treatment and rehabilitation
• Policy development and advocacy
• Building Sustainable Support Networks
• Global Perspectives on Addiction

Submission Guidelines

Abstract length: Maximum 300 words

Format: Include title, author(s) affiliation(s), and contact information

Submission Deadline: February 28, 2025

Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2025

 Please submit your abstracts to info@icarf.ca with the subject title line ‘ICAR 2025 Paper
Submission’.

We aim to bring together international experts, practitioners, policy makers, advocates and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and foster collaboration in addiction recovery for youth and families.
