Felicia Mukasa Kintu Tukei

Social Worker, mental health specialist and Health Administration Expert

Felicia Mukasa-Kintu Tukei is a seasoned Social Worker, Health Administration expert, Entrepreneur and Specialist in Human services with a focus on physical and intellectual disability, mental health in both the children and adult populations. Felicia received her formal training in Uganda and in the U.S.A. Felicia has over 15 years in the field with over 7 years in leading and managing programs focused on services for the special needs population both in Uganda and the USA. Her expertise is in leadership, training trainers, program and project administration, advocacy and resource mobilization.

Felicia has contributed to mental health panels within her diaspora community by contributing on pertinent topics such as postnatal depression in diaspora mothers. Felicia served as moderator for mental health panel at BBNAC convention in 2019 in Virginia, USA.

Felicia has received recognition for her performance during her service at Cornerstones Inc, A Non-Profit organization based in Reston, Virginia U.S.A in 2015.

Felicia continues to remain active in advocating for and collaborating with those providing services for children with special needs in Uganda by providing expert knowledge in setting up and running programs with internationally recognized practices. Felicia serves on the Board of New Creation Children’s Care Center located in Mukono, Uganda, an organization with a mission to help vulnerable children in Uganda. Felicia serves as a Director of Operations with ETA Children Organization in Kampala, Uganda, an organization providing services for special needs children.
